BEZIERS
The music of Giacchino Rossini, Italian composer of the 19th century, is sparkling and joyful, and his shimmering orchestrations highlight melodies that leave a lasting imprint on our memory.
The concert begins with his famous opera overtures, including the Barber of Seville.
In the second half, as every year, an artist-teacher from the Conservatoire Béziers Méditerranée will be featured as soloist. This time, the bassoon teacher will perform the concerto for bassoon and orchestra, introducing the audience to the expressive capabilities of this little-known instrument.
