How does art become immortal? Perhaps when it is born of the breath of the voice and the thrill of human drama? In this commented recital, L’Âme de l’Opéra traces the metamorphoses of opera, from its baroque babble with Monteverdi to the modern resonances of Poulenc. A musical journey, both vocal and pianistic, that explores the great milestones of the operatic repertoire through unforgettable arias: Casta diva, Carmen, La Bohème, as well as transcriptions for solo piano that reveal the dramatic essence of these masterpieces from another angle.
Each work evokes an era, a mood, a way of moving.
The song becomes a narrative, the piano becomes a mirror of passions, and the words guide the listener.
This concert is a sensitive journey through four centuries of history, where opera, at the crossroads of theater and music, becomes a witness to our humanity.
