This year, the Musique au Palais festival has chosen to honour the “Cities of Music”. Through their influence, their renown and the importance of their musical history, they have seen the birth, the attraction or the passing of the greatest geniuses in the history of Western music.
For this 10th edition, the festival welcomes professional artists, promising young musicians and great amateurs. Special emphasis is being placed on the younger generation thanks to the support of the Mill’espoirs foundation! You’ll have the pleasure of catching up with artists you’ve already enjoyed in previous editions – clarinettist Lilian Lefebvre, pianist Vincent Martinet in trio with Marie-Astrid Hulot and Nicolas Saint-Yves, flutist Célia Lambert-Mora, pianist Léo-Maxime Fabris, our faithful pianist accompanist Eloise Urbain and the ‘great amateurs’ Ariel Sirat and Francois Schwarzentruber – as well as discovering new talent: the Métamorphoses quartet (recent semi-finalists in the prestigious Bordeaux string quartet competition), and promising young talents Arthur Pérot (tenor), Félix Cohen (violin), Sixtine Le Goff (viola) and Pierre Venissac (piano).
