The Pavillon de la Calèche and the Pavillon de Chasse are located in a domain with a castle, dating from the end of the 19th century, surrounded by a 5-hectare park at the foot of the Montagne Noire. Discover the region on foot or by bike thanks to the numerous footpaths starting from the estate.
The Montagne Noire is part of the Parc naturel régional du Haut-Languedoc, in the centre of the Toulouse, Albi, Carcassonne triangle. Next to the 12th century abbey school of Sorèze (2 km) with its historic city of character and the bastide town of Revel (7 km) with its superb wooden market hall topped by a belfry which houses one of the 100 most beautiful markets in France every Saturday. Close to the lake of Saint-Ferréol (5km) “sea to mountain” with its dam. The lake is part of the water supply network of the Canal du Midi and so listed as a world heritage site by UNESCO. This gîte is the former hunting lodge of the estate. It was transformed into a magnificent gîte for ten people, adjoining the gîte Pavillon de la Calèche. The owners live in the castle. Pretty garden and lawn, terrace overlooking the private heated swimming pool. On the ground floor there is a living room, a large kitchen opening onto the terrace, a toilet. Upstairs are the four en suite, each with privatebath or shower room. Air conditioning in each room. Possibility of renting sheets and towels, cleaning service at the end of the stay. Charges not included, tourist tax not included.
