CAHUZAC
The Pavillon de la Calèche and the Pavillon de Chasse are located in a domain with a castle, dating from the end of the 19th century, surrounded by a 5-hectare park at the foot of the Montagne Noire. Discover the region on foot or by bike thanks to the numerous footpaths starting from the estate.
The Montagne Noire is part of the Parc naturel régional du Haut-Languedoc, in the centre of the Toulouse, Albi, Carcassonne triangle. Next to the 18th century abbey school of Sorèze (2 km) with its historic city of character and the bastide of Revel (7 km) with its superb wooden market hall topped by a belfry which houses one of the 100 most beautiful markets in France every Saturday. Close to the lake of St Ferréol (5km) “sea in the mountain” with the dam. It is involved in the water supply network of the Canal du Midi. The lake is listed as a world heritage site by UNESCO. The Pavillon de la Calèche with its former stables has been transformed into a character gîte with large capacity and great comfort, for families or friends up to 14 people. The owners live in the castle. Nice garden and lawn. Wooden terrace on the pool side with garden furniture for your outdoor meals, and a small covered terrace on the castle side. Private heated swimming pool. On the ground floor there is a large living room with a fully equipped open fitted kitchen, sitting area (stove), TV lounge, wc. Upstairs, five bedrooms, each with private shower room, two toilets. Underfloor heating on the ground floor, air conditioning in each bedroom. Possibility to rent sheets and towels, cleaning service at the end of the stay. Charges not included, tourist tax not included.
