VILLESEQUELANDE
The Arts and Nature centre offers art exhibitions from May to October. It is the result of a residency of three artists: Ursula Caruel, Anna Sarda and Marion de la Fontaine who, in 2023, create installations giving pride of place to the “tree” theme (Villesequelande being “the tree village “). To carry on the pleasure, photos of Hervé Baïs will also be exhibited. A lot of activities take place at the Arts and Nature centre, around arts, writing and nature : workshops, conferences, walks. Find the schedule on the online agenda and facebook. Located along side of the canal du Midi, you can access to the Arts and Nature centre from the village of Villesèquelande by following an artistic and literary footpath named “Arts’bres”. Access can be done by foot, by bicycle or by boat on opening days. The centre has a space for workshops, a bookshop area, and an community café. An outdoor area allows picnics.
