Mots & Merveilles is a cultural event dedicated to exploring the imagination and history through the works and worlds of artists from the French South. Authors, illustrators, and artisans meet the public in a unique setting—the medieval ruins of Saint-Félix de Montceau Abbey, perched on the heights of Gigean, overlooking the Thau Basin.
Meet-and-greets, book signings, and strolling
Two days to wander among the artists’ booths, discover their worlds, interact directly with them, and have books and illustrations signed. A spirit of connection and sharing between the public and creators from the Occitan region and the Greater South.
Saint-Félix de Montceau Abbey: a timeless medieval gem
Built in the 12th century, the Cistercian Abbey of Saint-Félix de Montceau is one of the most remarkable heritage sites in the Hérault. Its romantic ruins, overlooking the Thau Basin and the Mediterranean, provide an exceptional natural setting for a festival dedicated to the imagination.
