In 1912, Wilhelm Uhde, German collector and discoverer of Picasso, spotted an unsuspected artistic talent in his housekeeper, Séraphine. A moving relationship develops between the enlightened patron of the arts and this solitary woman, whose deeply moving paintings will leave their mark on the history of art.
