AGDE
Founded in 1935 by the Escolo dau sarret, the Agatha museum is a subtle balance between modern presentation and reconstructions of 19th-century bourgeois interior scenes.
After renewing its first floor scenography in 2023, and on the eve of future renovation work throughout the establishment, the Direction des Musées et du Patrimoine is offering the public the chance to celebrate its near centenary with two highlights:

> 7pm Concert by vocal trio Aqueles
By dint of their endless scavenging, they’ve finally found their Sweet Languedoc.
And they sing it with their characteristic mischievous candor. Their voices resonate with this land of undefined borders.
A veritable crossroads of cultures, their songs dismantle all prejudices and invite us to enjoy and meet. The repertoire, arranged in the style of Aqueles, conjures up the flourishing imagination of the langue d’oc.
Love and sunshine, of course, but also drama, dirty money, a charming nightingale, birds of ill omen… Three voices make an orchestra, and the zizique is on!
Style? No matter. Chachacha, cumbia, a little swing, a family waltz, a harvest rocksteady. Here’s a trumpet solo, a whistled song, a scratchy riff… And all in your mouth. Well, almost. Listen to that contrabassoon line and those few bombshells.
It’s a blast, even under the hat. But come on in!
In two words and three songs, Aqueles will tell you more about the hidden side of Languedoc.
