“The Artistic Image Is Always a Miracle” is a project born from the encounter between the musical world of Johann Sebastian Bach and that of Russian filmmaker Andrei Tarkovsky.
Alessandra Novaga explores the connection between music and cinema and the way they reflect each other. Bach’s music is reimagined through a series of transcriptions that become new works, alongside original compositions inspired by this encounter. As conceptual as it is emotional, her music takes us to a place where time dissolves, where light floods the realm of possibilities.
This event is presented as part of IN A LANDSCAPE, a concert series organized by the GMEA National Center for Musical Creation in Albi – Tarn, in partnership with Le Vent des Signes, Crac Occitanie, and the École des Beaux-Arts de Sète.
With support from the Ministry of Culture’s “Mieux Produire, Mieux Diffuser” program.
