SAINT-FELIX-LAURAGAIS
Music from East and West at the time of the Troubadours. In the 12th and 13th centuries, the troubadours, poets and musicians from the south of France, composed in the langue d’oc and travelled from castle to castle spreading the values of courtly love. Some of them frequented the Spanish courts and became familiar with Sephardic and Arab-Andalusian poems and melodies. This programme highlights the links between Arab, Jewish and European cultures.
