TOULOUSE
The Amlili Amazigh Festival offers a rich programme of concerts, exhibitions, screenings and workshops. On the music front, artists such as Syna Awel and Imarhan will be taking the Metronum stage by storm. The visual arts are in the spotlight with the group exhibition La maison amazighe and openings exploring identity and memory. Documentaries such as Child of Tam and Ticrad open up a dialogue on cultural transmission and the role of women. The festival also invites visitors to experiment with creativity in workshops (symbolic tattooing, textiles, calligraphy) and to discover new skills at the designer market in the Halles de la Cartoucherie. An immersive encounter where Amazigh heritage and contemporary creation meet.
This year’s festival is taking place at a number of venues across the city: Metronum, Halles de la Cartoucherie, Théâtre des Mazades, Espace Diversité Laïcité, Abattoirs, Maison Mazigh & Mac Capsule Culturelle.
