Les Roses Canal du Midi farm invites you to a moment of writing and self-discovery with author Dominique Chailan, for a sensitive writing workshop inspired by nature.
In a calm, natural setting, this workshop will be a time to slow down, breathe and let the words come naturally.
During these two hours, Dominique will guide you step by step through several moments of writing and sharing:
-> Welcome and introduction
A time for getting to know each other, discovering the author?s world and creating a friendly atmosphere.
-> Writing the self-portrait
An initial exercise in putting down a few words about yourself: who you are, your memories, your feelings. A gentle way to get into writing.
-> Writing inspired by nature
The natural world around us will be our source of inspiration: the calm, the sounds, the sensations. We’ll write from what we feel in the moment.
-> Reading of texts (optional)
For those who wish, it will be possible to read your text to the group in a moment of listening and respect.
-> Time for exchange and sharing
We close with a discussion of feelings, emotions and experiences from the workshop.
This workshop is open to all.
No previous writing experience is necessary.
All you need is the desire to take a moment for yourself.
