Thierry invites you to discover musical ornithology or practical entomology through these workshops.
Musical ornithology is the science of studying birds by recognizing their songs. Thierry will be using his “Birdie Memory” teaching tool, a sound amplifier, bird calls and binoculars to help you learn all about birds.
Practical entomology is the science of studying insects, with a focus on the tiger mosquito. Thierry will use his “Pik’Tro” teaching tool to observe mosquito larvae and adult mosquitoes with a binocular magnifying glass. He’ll also teach you how to make anti-mosquito lotion.
This workshop will be followed by a snack of local flavors.
For children aged 6 to 12.
