TOULOUSE
Through autobiographical anecdotes, BOULE presents an offbeat narrative that blends humour and emotion; as ever, he casts a gaze upon humanity that is both amused and tender. Poetic, at times surreal songs, coupled with precise guitar playing rich in influences (Brazil, Greece, Ireland, …) combine to create an original and delightful one-man show. BOULE recalls his early days on stage, Normandy, and the unusual encounters that would lead him to posterity! (Or not…).
It’s time to take stock of a 20-year career; Boule spills the beans, and inside, it’s a right old mess.
The audience leaves amused, and determined to spread the good news: BOULE is unmissable.
BOULE is like a cube, but round. Chatty, passionate, sincere, modest. Anyone who’s seen him on stage will quickly realise that this is his strength, his favourite playground, his passport with no expiry date. A musicality, a sound, a tone. He improvises, plays to his earthy humour, juggles with silences, imagery and audience interjections. No censorship, just pure delight. Cinema without the fuss.
