Here is a duo that weaves together timbres, strings and languages like lines across a landscape, linking repertoires gathered from the Quercy and the Massif Central. *Bourrasque* is a story of a relationship – both musical and emotional – characterised by a complementarity and intensity unique to the duo. Whilst the two friends are brought together by their shared love of music rooted in popular culture, it is a desire to encounter and understand music as a reflection of a broader way of being in the world that truly unites them. From then on, they have pursued this path, creating music in which improvisation, the Occitan language, dance, their connection to the land they inhabit and collective adventures all contribute to enriching the fabric of their work. This dynamic relationship provides fertile ground for a vast field of experimentation, where the banjo, violin and vocals bring out flashes of these folk tunes to the rhythm of the beats on the ground.
