Behind the whirlwind of gags and misunderstandings in The Barber of Seville, a wind of freedom blows – that of Rossini’s irresistible music, which made Beaumarchais’ comedy one of the most dazzling masterpieces of the operatic repertoire. Le Bus Figaro concentrates the essentials into one hour: the most beautiful moments of the work, sung in French, alternate with delicious dialogue.
