MONTESQUIEU-LAURAGAIS
Born of the desire to combine music and regional gastronomy, the idea of a cassoulet-concert was successfully put into practice for the first time in 2016, and is now an annual tradition.
Wielding their ladles as well as their instruments, the members of the Briqu’à brass orchestra offer a meal interspersed with musical and dance interludes, in the warm and friendly atmosphere of this charming little village. Between a rock and a pasodoble, they invite you to come and enjoy a home-made cassoulet prepared by the chef, himself both musician and cook.
This unique orchestra is made up of eight musicians who put on an apron to serve you at the table and then take to the stage to make you dance. It’s the perfect way to spend a March evening, getting together in Montesquieu to enjoy a delicious meal, a concert and maybe even venture onto the dance floor for a little chacha, mambo or rock’n roll.
