One of the most famous pairings in the history of cinema. Twenty-five years in the business and over a hundred films under their belts. But before breaking the sound barrier, Laurel and Hardy made a string of short comedies that were as over-the-top as they were delirious for Hal Roach Studios. À la soupe!, Vive la liberté! and Œil pour œil, three brilliant short films based on the physical and psychological opposition of the two funniest and most uncontrollable agitators of silent cinema.

This screening will take the form of a ciné-concert with the participation of :
Le Bruit de la Pellicule
Raphaël Howson piano, keyboard
Quentin Ferradou drums, percussion
Adrien Rodriguez double bass, effects pedals
