On the Ways of St James, in the Coteaux du Girou
In October, get ready for some stops along the Way of St James in the Coteaux du Girou! As you may know, the GR46, a route on the Way of St James, crosses the Coteaux du Girou region from Roquesérière to Lavalette!
Since 2023, work carried out on the A680 as part of the A69 motorway development has affected our walking routes, particularly the GR46 route! In October, the route will be officially reopened.
To mark the occasion, we’re organising a series of events to celebrate it. Whether it’s community initiatives or a film… Discover the programme we’ve put together for you right now.
These events form part of the wider cultural programme of the Agence Française des Chemins de Compostelle and are part of the ‘1,000 hands for the Ways of St James’ initiative: ‘1,000 Hands for the Ways of St James’ is a national, meaningful, unifying and friendly event held every first weekend in October.
