Cinema under the stars: A magical evening at the Maison du Malpas
What better way to savor the warmth of an August evening than under the stars? In the enchanting setting of the Théâtre de Verdure, at the Maison du Malpas, the seventh art invites itself to the banks of the Canal du Midi for a session rich in emotion.
This evening is more than just a screening. It’s part of the “Revivre le Canal” program, orchestrated by the Office de Tourisme La Domitienne. This year is all the more special in that we are celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Canal du Midi’s classification as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
On the bill: “Rémi sans famille” (Rémi without family)
For this open-air screening, let yourself be transported by the universal story of Rémi sans famille, who discovered the Canal du Midi on his journey.
The pitch: The adventures of young Rémi, taken in by an itinerant musician, through a magnificently filmed France of yesteryear. A film that will touch the hearts of young and old alike.
