In France, 10,000 blood donations are needed every day to meet the needs of patients. Donating blood takes just one hour and can save three lives.
To be eligible to give blood, you must weigh at least 50 kg and be aged between 18 and 70.
The process is simple: you fill in a questionnaire, a doctor will check your blood pressure,
and you’ll sit comfortably whilst your blood is collected, which takes about ten minutes.
After the donation, you’ll have a mandatory snack for fifteen minutes before you can go home.
