Description

In 1942, Germany ‘invaded the Free Zone’ and ordered the construction of the bunkers for the ‘Mediterranean Wall’. In Agde, around thirty of the hundred or so built remain.A re-enactment of the Second World War and a tour of the bunkers.
Official ceremony at the war memorial, Vieux Cemetery in Agde, followed by a historical re-enactment and a tour of the bunkers at La Tamarissière.

9.30am – 12.30pm / 2.00pm – 6.00pm:
World War II re-enactment and tour of the bunkers.
