9pm – Concert with free admission: Mathilde Bayle & Erige Cano perform a superb duo of VIOLIN & COUNTERBASS.
Mathilde and Erige, with their two instruments of contrasting registers and a jazz approach, bring out Bach’s music in their own way, as well as standards, world songs and film music.
They have performed at the ‘Passe ton Bach d’abord’ festival (Toulouse), the Estivales de Loyat (Brittany), the Java des Baleines (Ile de Ré), the Anères silent film festival (Pyrenees), the 38riv jazzclub (Paris)… and have just finalised their first album, entitled ‘Funambules’.
