An exceptional guitarist, he celebrates the richness and passion of Iberian music in his concert “Masterpieces of Spanish Guitar.”
Through works by Térrega, Albéniz, Granados, and Rodrigo, he plucks the strings of his instrument with rare sensitivity and a sense of refinement that evokes the light, the dance, and the soul of Spain.
His playing, both virtuosic and intimate, invites the audience on a poetic journey to the heart of Mediterranean emotions.
Philippe has performed at Canterbury Cathedral, the Obcni Dum in Prague, the Museo de la Ciudad in Mexico City, in Damascus, in Bayreuth, Germany, at the Cathedral of Aix-en-Provence, at the Church of Saint-Germain-des-Prés in Paris, in the Abbeys of Saint-Victor in Marseille, Conques, and Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert, in the Cloister of Moissac, as well as at the Opéra Comédie in Montpellier.
