The CRI teachers invite you on a journey through two masterpieces of the classical era: the first part features Johann Nepomuk Hummel?s Piano Quintet, performed by soloist Sacha Stefanovic (piano), accompanied by a string ensemble comprising François-Xavier Corsi (violin), Astrid Martin (viola), Anouk Legée (cello) and Julien Surmont (double bass). An intense work, imbued with depth and passion, reminiscent of the compositions of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, whose famous double concerto for flute and harp in C major is featured in the second half.
