TOULOUSE
Culte Funk, a Parisian funk band comprising nine musicians, blends tradition and modernity to create music that brings people together – music that is at once festive, sophisticated and accessible.
Their fiery sound is built on an original arrangement: two guitars, one of which is a
baritone, synths that oscillate between jazz, electro and pure funk, and an explosive
brass section (two tenor saxophones and a trumpet). Originally an instrumental band characterised by improvisation, the group took on a new dimension with the arrival of Gladys,
a frontwoman with a powerful, soulful voice. Her charisma infuses the music with a vibrant energy that elevates the compositions.
