SETE
The CRAC Occitanie in Sète will host the exhibition and presentation “Flags for My City” from November 7 to 29, 2026.
For the past three years, artists from the Tisseuses de liens association—Ma%EFa Amiel, Delphine Jalabert, Elena Salah, Claire Schneider, and Mathilde Beck, have been traveling throughout Frontignan-la-Peyrade in collaboration with the town’s cultural department to create flags with local residents. During textile workshops, residents created as many flags as there are ways to experience their town. They will be on display in the streets of Frontignan from October 3 to November 15, 2026.
At the Crac, a wide selection of original textile compositions is presented in this exhibition.
With the participation of the associations Cr%E9apatch, D%E9s et Ciseaux d’Argents, Atelier de Jade, Femmes en Languedoc Roussillon, Un point c’est tout, Concerthau, Espace de vie sociale Albert-Calmette, Planète parents, Handi-Actions Cap 34, Vivre la Terre, neighborhood committees, the CLAS, the Anatole France elementary, preschool, and after-school programs, the Deux Pins middle school, the Simone de Beauvoir middle school, the Maurice Clavel Agricultural Vocational High School, the Anatole France nursing homes, the Jean Piaget Residence, the Kifo Youth Center, the Les Mouettes Recreation Center, and the Montaigne Media Library.
