Synopsis:
Sound the tubas, and let the clarinets, trumpets and drums ring out! An internationally renowned conductor travels the world when, upon learning that he was adopted, he discovers the existence of a brother, a school canteen worker and trombone player in a brass band in northern France. On the surface, everything separates them, except their love of music. A film about the reconciliation between Ravel’s Boléro and jazz, but also a work on class violence, treated here without any black-and-white thinking.
