Marie Wiart, known as MarieBou—a painter whose work features sunny, Mediterranean colors—her canvases celebrate the warm light of the South, sunsets over the sea, and the atmosphere of the Languedoc coastline.
Armelle Joly Le Dain—an artist whose work explores intimate and poetic worlds—presents pieces that blend watercolors, textiles, and creations inspired by the Thau Lagoon— seahorses, reflections on the lagoon, and gentle, soothing seascapes.
Chantal Berret—a sculptor and visual artist whose colorful and joyful creations include fish and painted wooden sculptures featuring pointillist motifs—brings a festive and lively touch to the exhibition.
A unique setting: the Louis Nocca trawler
The exhibition is held aboard the Louis Nocca trawler— a real fishing boat moored at Quai Général Durand, which has been transformed into a unique and welcoming community cultural center, intimately linked to Sète’s maritime history.
