Memory – Contemporary Art.Serge Vollin / Texts by Fatima Besnaci-LancouThe “13 Chibanis Harkis” exhibition was presented in 2021 by the Mémorial du Camp de Rivesaltes. It looks at the memory of the Harkis through the prism of the art of internationally renowned artist Serge Vollin. The thirteen series of paintings presented are based on the testimonies of Harki chibanis about their experiences of war, exile and relegation to the camps.
