Denis Estève, a painter from Rével, is presenting his new exhibition, “Lumières”, at the Ciné Get from 1 to 17 August.
“Using a highly refined and sophisticated technique, I seek to recapture the lighting of the great Renaissance masters, in compositions enveloped in ‘sfumato’, to create atmospheric effects and subtle transitions between light and shadow.
One cannot tell when colour becomes light and colour transforms into light. It is a very personal and intimate way for me to express myself, always in pursuit of light and harmony.”
