BEZIERS
“Encerrona”: a trap, a set-up, but also a moment when the Diestro finds himself alone against six bulls. Retreating to his studio to create canvases capturing what is still being played out, physically, in the arena. The artist seeks to reveal the drama at play, both at the center and periphery of the action, without participating directly. He becomes a transmitter of emotions, attempting to capture the ephemeral, that which escapes in bullfighting.
