A self-taught artist who has long been passionate about art, Patrick Sant lives in a small town in Occitanie, at the foot of the Pyrenees. His artistic passions include salvaging metal, nature, and breathing new life into objects.
For a long time, Patrick has felt a deep connection to nature and what it can offer human beings. A keen collector of discarded objects, with a passion for metal and the myriad possibilities for its transformation when exposed to the elements, he chooses it as the medium for his creations and his imagination. Patient and confident, he reveals, through his creative process, all the beauty and gentle strength that can emerge from the material. To achieve this, he joins forces with nature and time, working in harmony with them to present us with these striking, large-scale works of art, full of warm colours, unexplored lines and radiance.
In this way, he hopes to convey the message that, with very little, one can create endlessly, stir the emotion of discovery, and open up one’s imagination. All it takes is to show respect, contemplation and appreciation for nature’s work, and to borrow a small part of it, in order to enrich it with the creative spirit of humankind.
