QUARANTE
The exhibition “Life is Dance!” Curated by Hélène Audiffren, director of the Carré d’Art museum in Nîmes, brings together some 50 works by artist Jeanne Susplugas, including several created during her residency in Sud-Hérault. Through drawings, installations and images, the artist explores dance as a metaphor for life: a movement made up of fragile balances, constant adjustments and relationships with others. “Life is Dance!” evokes the flexibility needed to move forward in an ever-changing world, the acceptance of impermanence and the joy of savoring the moment. An invitation to let yourself be carried along, to celebrate the living and to dance, even when the music changes.
