The Superbemarché exhibition invites us to wander through MIAM?s impressive collection of citrus papers, and guides us through this popular imagery to tell us a modern mythology of the orange, from its mythical biological origins to its globalized trade, agriculture, transport and consumptionthis collection is echoed with works of art, documents and other collections of trade-related ephemera, to question more broadly those objects of Modest Art which, on the borderline between work and document, attempt to make our daily lives as globalized consumers more beautiful.Following on from the BEAUBADUGLY exhibition dealing with trade images linked to painting, MIAM continues its exploration with a look at graphic trade images.
