VILLEFRANCHE-DE-LAURAGAIS
On 21 June, Villefranche-de-Lauragais goes live! To celebrate the Fête de la Musique, the town council is inviting local residents to the Place Gambetta for a festive, friendly day of free entertainment (the central covered market will be the venue in the event of bad weather).
From early evening onwards, the town will come alive to the rhythm of concerts and local associations, with an eclectic programme combining music schools, local bands and festive groups until 1am.
From 5.30pm, local artists take to the stage:
-Le Diapason Villefranchois
-The Lauragais Intercommunal Music School
-La Lyre Lauragaise
-Peppermind
-Les Royalties
Feeling peckish? Throughout the evening, local associations – Twirling, Calandreta, APE Saint-Joseph, Cercle des Nageurs and Les Francas – will be offering refreshments and snacks to accompany the festivities.
