The Culture Bar-Bars Festival has become the second-largest national cultural event after the Fête de la Musique: it embodies the fundamental role played by these small venues – bistros, concert cafés, cultural cafés, clubs and music bars – in fostering cultural and artistic development and a sense of community. These venues are essential not only to artists’ careers but also to the wellbeing of an audience seeking a break from the everyday.
This year’s programme features a wealth of artistic events of all kinds (music, stand-up comedy, exhibitions, drag shows, dance…).
