The 36th edition of the Festival de Thau will be held from July 11 to 26, 2026, in Mèze, Loupian, Montbazin, Valmagne and the port of Mèze.Supported by the Jazzamèze association since its creation in 1991, the Festival de Thau is a flagship event in the Occitanie region, and more particularly in the Hérault.Welcoming between 10,000 and 12,000 people each year, it is a nomadic, multi-faceted festival that never ceases to reach out to all audiences in various communes around the Etang de Thau. The Festival de Thau is a unique project that combines a program focused on world music and contemporary music, with initiatives to raise awareness of sustainable development (eco-dialogues, a village of encounters and a responsible management system). It defends both openness to the world, which is at the heart of its artistic approach, and its territory by promoting exceptional sites and local producers. It is also a forerunner in its commitment to sustainable development, and is one of the very first festivals in Occitanie to be awarded the “Événement Détonnant” label, having established a set of specifications covering over 90 eco-responsibility criteria for its eventsfor the festive season, give the gift of culture!
