SETE
The 17th edition of the Sète Book Festival, “Les Automn’Halles,” will take place from September 23 to 27, 2026.
It will open at the Paul-Valéry Museum with a tribute to George Sand marking the 150th anniversary of her death. La Compagnie du Moment (Toulouse), featuring actress Nathalie Barolle, will present a dramatized reading of *Moi George Sand ? L’amoureuse affranchie* (Hello Éditions, 2026) by Vanessa Roma.
An exhibition of paintings by Françoise Eloire will take place at the François-Mitterrand Media Library (opening September 15). Among the invited authors: Léonor de Récondo, Antoine Compagnon, Alain Ferry, Philippe Bordas, Alain Quella-Villégier, Amaury Da Cunha, Julia Lépère, Aude Walker, Mildred Simantov, Christian Chavassieux, Michèle Pedinielli, Anouchka Vasak, Mye… As well as numerous regional authors and publishers.
