When you contemplate works of art, you inevitably become one yourself. Beauty is contagious, we like to think at the Louvre. Driven by this noble ambition, two guardians, as passionate as they are zany, accompany visitors as they discover Leonardo da Vinci’s major work: the Mona Lisa.
The story is full of tenderness and humour, and includes blueberry pie, inspiration, a forgotten umbrella, an enlightened teacher, a grumpy octogenarian (or maybe not so grumpy), love lost and found again, a bag of marbles and moments of grace.
