9:30 PM: Goran Bregović
Get ready for an extraordinary musical journey with Goran Bregović! A master of Balkan music and high-energy celebrations, the legendary composer and musician with intoxicating rhythms will make Place Carnot dance to the sounds of the Balkans. From Kalashnikov to Bella Ciao and the iconic “Ederlezi” (from the soundtrack of Time of the Gypsies), Goran Bregović, the Balkan rock star, has become an essential figure in the world music scene over three decades. On stage, with his Wedding and Funeral Orchestra, brass band, and Bulgarian singers, he delivers a generous, breathtaking concert overflowing with energy and freedom that no one can resist.
To celebrate the release of his new album in early 2026, he will perform on July 16th at the Festival de Carcassonne for a grand concert with his orchestra as part of his summer tour!
