TOULOUSE
The SCÉNO festival welcomes artists who invent new forms, open up the stage, and sketch out new perspectives through their gestures. A set is never neutral: it already contains a play to come. That’s the vision behind SCÉNO.
The festival invites set designers who are also stage directors, visual artists and choreographers. What do they have in common? The stage, which they are constantly reinventing, each in their own way. On the programme: four shows, an installation, meetings in the form of dialogues to share their approaches. There will also be “scenographic quarters of an hour” proposed by ENSATT students. There will also be some stage-side events. SCÉNO proposes to approach theatre from its foundations: where it all begins.
