LABEGE
Today’s starry skies are subject to all kinds of pollution: atmospheric (man-made gases), luminous (night-time lighting in towns and homes) and, now, a proliferation of space debris and communications satellites visible from Earth. In search of a sky that is still pure, Olivier Bleys criss-crossed the deserts of the American West and hiked the high ridges of the Sierra Nevada.
Throughout, interviews were conducted with astronomers, space entrepreneurs, dark sky preservation activists and other players in the sector.
In partnership with Délires d’encre and the Escalquens media library.
