VIEILLEVIGNE
The Vieillevigne Festival opens its doors wide to welcome you for several days filled with sharing, good humour and a warm, friendly atmosphere.
Locals, families, friends and visitors can enjoy a varied programme combining local traditions, musical entertainment, fine food, competitions and festive evenings.
Thursday 23 July:
8.30 pm: A three-part belote competition to kick off the festivities in a friendly atmosphere.
Friday 24 July:
7.30 pm: Festive dinner by invitation only, followed by a performance by the band Les AOC’s, then a dance.
Raffle tickets (€2) will be on sale during the meal, with the draw taking place straight afterwards.
Saturday 25 July:
9.30 am: Morning serenade, an unmissable tradition of village festivals.
3.00 pm: Pétanque competition in pre-formed pairs, open to all (registration at 2.30 pm).
7.30 pm: Food trucks Pause Sambos, specialising in Madagascan cuisine, and Smash d’Aqui will be on hand to treat food lovers.
10.00 pm: Grand concert by the band CONNEXION for a festive evening of dancing.
Sunday 26 July
11.00 am: Mass.
12.00 pm: Ceremony at the war memorial.
3.00 pm: Pétanque competition in pre-formed pairs, open to all (registration at 2.30 pm).
5.00 pm: A pizza van will be on the square.
10.00 pm: Grand closing night hosted by V!TTS (Nathan Bellens) to round off the festivities with music.
