Open to all!
Starting point: Calandreta Dagtenca School. 46 Rue Brescou, Agde.
8.30pm: Occitan dance ‘Balèt’.
Performed by the duo Rousse-Tisnèr with Clément Rousse on diatonic accordion and kick drum; Jordan Tisnèr on vocals, three-hole flute and tambourine.
In search of a sound that is both rooted in tradition and contemporary, the duo has crafted their dance music to celebrate the dances of their cultural region.
It is in the groove of the rondeau, the branle and the congo, and in the blend of the Gascon lowlands and mountains, that they find the inspiration to share their vision of traditional music.
