BEZIERS
For 3 days, the city of Béziers honors its patron saint, Saint Aphrodise, and his faithful camel, Lo Camel.
To mark the occasion, Henri Barthes will host a lecture on the “Prædium Rusticum” or “Domaine Agricole”, a Latin poem of over 12,000 verses that earned its author, Béziers-born Jacques Vanière, the nickname of the “French Virgil”.
Free admission.
