TOULOUSE
Since the end of 2019, drummer Gabriel Delmas and his trio have been putting the spotlight on dynamic compositions with a resolutely groovy spirit.
Influenced by artists such as Maceo Parker, Stanton Moore, Chris Potter and Vulfpeck, Gabriel is joined by the talented Florent Hortal on guitar (Big Band Brass with Dominique Rieux, Initiative H, Ben L’Oncle Soul) and Nicolas Blancot on keyboards. The trio regularly invites prestigious musicians to groove jam sessions, including Nicolas Folmer, Sylvain Gontard, Stéphane Guillaume, Pierre Lapprand, Tom Ibarra and Guillaume Farley.
In May 2024, the trio invited the incredible Gaël Horellou for a memorable evening at Le Taquin. The project was born out of that evening. Saxophonist and composer Gaël Horellou is a fixture on the French jazz scene. He has constantly explored the multiple sounds of jazz through a number of projects in which he has collaborated with many musicians (Ari Hoenig, Frédéric Nardin, Antoine Paganotti, Viktor Nyberg, Etienne Déconfin, Lionel Belmondo…).
