Starmania, the famous musical created in 1979 by Michel Berger and Luc Plamandon, explores the excesses of a world dominated by the star system.
In this futuristic world, power lies in the spotlight. A world where everyone wants to shine, even if it means losing their way.
Stars, politicians, rebels, all seek to exist in the eyes of others.
Even the Black Stars, a group of misfits rising up against the established order, are not spared the obsession with fame.
Their leader, Sadia, embodies this contradiction. While advocating rebellion and rejection of the system, she also seeks to be seen and recognized.
