A delightful show for the very young, based on the exploration of materials to the sound of warm acoustic music.
By and starring Magali Frumin and François Boutibou In Carton, the actress experiments with materials and brings them to life live, accompanied by a musician with a sensitive ear, immersing us in a warm atmosphere.
Together, they play, search, transform and divert. Their astonishing imaginations conjure up ghosts that end up as giant candyfloss, a flower that sways to rock music or an anteater that belly dances…
Through disguise and the pleasure of imagination, this show puts the joy of playing with paper, bits of wood and cardboard back at the centre, to the accompaniment of soft, enveloping live music.
This natural joy in play and transformation is akin to the joy we feel when we’re exploring as children: using what’s there around us and twisting it to surprise and amuse.
As in her previous shows (Petite Chimère, Grands Petits Départs, etc.), Magali Frumin of Les Voyageurs immobiles uses a touch of fantasy, a drop of sensitivity and a hint of curiosity to create journeys of the imagination.
